Job Description

Main Duties.

  • Develop implement and maintain safety policies procedures and programs in compliance with local and international regulations
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
  • Lead and coordinate emergency response activities including drills and training exercises
  • Investigate accidents incidents and nearmisses to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures
  • Provide safety training and education to employees at all levels of the organization
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives making datadriven improvements as needed
  • Collaborate with department heads and management to integrate safety practices into daily operations
  • Maintain accurate safety records and prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies
  • Stay uptodate with changes in safety regulations and industry best practices
  • Manage the budget for safetyrelated equipment training and programs
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for safetyrelated matters with external agencies and stakeholders

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety Industrial Hygiene or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a safety management or supervisory role
  • Indepth knowledge of local and international safety regulations and standards
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing safety policies and procedures
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with the capacity to train and educate others
  • Proficiency in Windowsbased programs and safety management software
  • Current certification in CPR and First Aid
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in emergency situations
  • Professional demeanor and commitment to maintaining a culture of safety
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed
