About the Role:
We are seeking a highly sed and experienced Director of Website to lead the development and of our web strategy. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our website ensuring it is visually appealing userfriendly and optimized for performance. You will collaborate closely with our design and marketing teams to translate business objectives into a compelling online experience that drives engagement and conversions.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive website strategy aligned with our overall business goals and marketing objectives.
- Website Development: Oversee the design development and maintenance of our website ensuring it is responsive userfriendly and optimized for various devices.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and direction on website architecture content management systems (CMS) and frontend development technologies.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor website performance identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance speed security and user experience.
- SEO Implementation: Collaborate with the SEO team to ensure the website is optimized for search engines driving organic traffic and improving visibility.
- Content Management: Oversee website content updates ensuring accuracy consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
- User Experience (UX): Conduct user research and ysis to understand user needs and behaviors implementing UX best practices to enhance website navigation and usability.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with designers developers content creators and marketing teams to ensure seamless website development and .
- Emerging Technologies: Stay abreast of the latest web development trends and technologies evaluating and implementing new tools and techniques to enhance website functionality.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 years of proven experience in a website development or management role with a strong understanding of the entire web development lifecycle.
- Technical Ss: Proficiency in HTML CSS JavaScript and jQuery. Familiarity with various CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress) and frontend frameworks.
- Design Sensibility: Strong understanding of web design principles user interface (UI) best practices and user experience (UX) odologies.
- ytical Ss: Ability to yze website data identify trends and make datadriven decisions to improve website performance.
- SEO Knowledge: Familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) principles and best practices.
- Communication Ss: Excellent written and verbal communication ss with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Leadership Ss: Proven ability to lead and manage website development projects providing guidance and direction to team members.
- Tools: Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma Adobe XD and Webflow.
