Job Description
LOOKING FOR FILIPINO CITIZENS WHO ARE PHILIPPINESBASED CANDIDATES
Position : Accountant (D2C Ecommerce)
Working Schedule : 9AM 5M EST
Salary Range : $1300$2000(the final salary will be determined by the candidate's level of experience and at the discretion of the client)
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly sed and detailoriented Accountant to join our fastpaced directtoconsumer ecommerce company. As an integral part of our finance team you will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records ensuring accuracy and compliance and providing valuable insights to support the company's financial goals. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with QuickBooks a solid understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in using various tools such as Google Docs and other accounting software.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Recording and Reporting:
- Record financial transactions accurately and timely into QuickBooks or other accounting systems.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports including profit and loss statements balance sheets and cash flow statements.
- Reconcile bank statements credit card transactions and other financial records.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Process vendor invoices review for accuracy and ensure timely payments.
- Prepare and send invoices to customers and follow up on collections.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- ist in budget preparation and collaborate with relevant departments to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Aid in financial forecasting and identifying potential costsaving opportunities.
- Tax Compliance:
- Work closely with external tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely tax filings.
- Monitor tax regulations and ensure the company's compliance with relevant tax laws.
- Inventory Management:
- Support inventory management by reconciling inventory records and conducting periodic physical counts.
- Financial ysis:
- yze financial data to identify trends discrepancies and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- General Accounting Support:
- ist in monthend and yearend closing processes.
- Maintain organized and uptodate financial records and doentation.
- Provide support during internal and external audits.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including operations marketing and sales to gain insights and support decisionmaking processes.
Requirements:
- Must have 3 years of experience in a direct role.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant with a focus on QuickBooks and other accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using Google Docs and other tools typically utilized by accountants.
- Detailoriented and able to maintain high levels of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management ss.
- Strong ytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent communication ss both written and verbal.
- Experience in the ecommerce industry is a plus.
