Job Description
Position: Urgent Need Vascular Sonographer (Allied)
Location: Utica NY 13502
Pay Rate: $70$73/hr
Duration: 13 weeks contract
Shift: 8hr Days
Guarantee Hours: 40
Description / Comment :
- 75 MILE RADIUS RULE
- Shift: 5x8s 84 or 95 willing to be flexible
- Monday Friday
- ARDMS required
- OT after 48
- Education: Associate or Bachelors degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Certification: RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RVS (Registered Vascular Sonographer) or BLS required
- Experience: 23 years preferred in vascular ultrasound.
- Skills: Proficiency in vascular sonography attention to detail communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct vascular ultrasound exams including carotid duplex peripheral arterial/venous duplex and abdominal studies.
- Analyze results and document findings for physician review.
- Prepare patients for procedures explain the process and ensure their comfort.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment for optimal performance.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and provide detailed preliminary reports.
