Job Description
Job Title: Sleep Technician (Allied)
Location: Watertown NY 13601
Pay Rate: $55/hr
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Shift: 12hour nights 6:45p7:15a
Responsibilities:
- Conduct sleep studies and monitor patients during overnight sleep tests.
- Set up and calibrate polysomnographic equipment.
- Record and analyze data related to sleep disorders.
- Assist in diagnosing sleep conditions such as sleep apnea insomnia and narcolepsy.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout testing.
- Prepare detailed reports for physician interpretation.
Requirements:
- Certification in Polysomnographic Technology (RPSGT preferred).
- Knowledge of sleep disorders and testing protocols.
- RPSGT Two years experience in sleep disorders.
- MUST BE NY LICENSED
- BLS REQUIRED
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work overnight shifts.
- Previous experience in sleep testing is a plus.
