Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries for data analysis and extraction.
- Optimize queries for improved performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate database functionality into applications.
- Ensure data integrity and security through proper access controls and backup processes.
- Participate in database design and architecture discussions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve databaserelated issues.
- Create and maintain documentation for database processes and procedures.
- Assist in database migration and upgrades.
- Implement data governance best practices.
- Monitor database performance and identify areas for improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and MySQL database management.
- Understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling.
- Ability to write efficient and optimized SQL queries.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Knowledge of database security and backup procedures.
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
- Good understanding of data governance principles.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
