Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Hardware Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing developing and testing hardware components and systems for electronic devices. The role involves collaboration with crossfunctional teams to create highperformance reliable and costeffective products.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
- Design and develop hardware systems including PCB (Printed Circuit Board) layouts schematics and hardware architecture for various products.
- Collaborate with software mechanical and firmware teams to integrate hardware with other system components.
- Select appropriate materials components and technologies for hardware design ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Prototyping and Testing:
- Create prototypes and conduct feasibility studies to evaluate design concepts and alternatives.
- Perform testing and debugging of hardware to ensure performance reliability and functionality.
- Utilize simulation tools for performance analysis and optimization.

Documentation:
- Prepare detailed design documentation including specifications bills of materials (BOM) and test reports.
- Maintain records of all design iterations changes and test results.

Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. FCC CE RoHS etc.).
- Conduct design reviews risk assessments and ensure EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) and safety compliance.

Collaboration:
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure the scalability and manufacturability of designs.
- Engage with suppliers and vendors for component sourcing and validation.
- Participate in project planning and contribute to timelines budgets and resource allocation.

Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 35 years of experience in hardware design PCB design or related roles.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in PCB design tools (e.g. Altium OrCAD Cadence Allegro Eagle).
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
- Familiarity with signal integrity power management and highspeed signal design.
- Experience with microcontrollers FPGAs embedded systems and RF designs.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and DFM (Design for Manufacturability).
- Proficiency in PCB design tools (e.g. Altium OrCAD Cadence Allegro Eagle).
- Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct performance analysis and troubleshooting for hardware designs.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for crossfunctional collaboration and reporting.
- Problem Solving: Ability to work on complex technical challenges and find innovative solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in highvolume consumer electronics or industrial hardware.
- Knowledge of IoT hardware design and wireless communication protocols (WiFi Bluetooth etc.).
- Experience with environmental testing and compliance (temperature humidity vibration).
- Familiarity with 3D modeling software (e.g. SolidWorks) for hardware enclosures.
