Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Conveyor Operator to join our waste management team. The primary responsibility is to operate and monitor conveyor systems that transport waste materials within our facility ensuring smooth efficient and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor conveyor belts to move waste materials for sorting or processing.
- Ensure smooth and efficient material flow by adjusting conveyor speed and troubleshooting issues.
- Perform routine checks on conveyor systems to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Adhere to health safety and environmental guidelines during operations.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
- Experience operating conveyor systems or heavy machinery is preferred.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor conveyor issues.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and as part of a team.
