Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Construction & Engineering Investment Banking Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for providing support to senior bankers in executing a variety of financial transactions within the construction and engineering sector. You will conduct financial analysis assist in due diligence processes and contribute to the development of client presentations and pitch materials. Additionally you will monitor industry trends perform company valuations and participate in client meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis including financial modeling valuation and comparable company analysis.
- Assist in the due diligence process for mergers and acquisitions debt and equity financings and other transactions.
- Prepare presentation materials and pitch books for client meetings and transactions.
- Research and analyze industry trends competitive landscapes and potential investment opportunities.
- Support senior bankers in client interactions and meetings as well as in negotiating deal terms.
- Collaborate with internal teams including legal compliance and operations to ensure smooth transaction execution.
- Perform adhoc tasks and projects as required by senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Engineering or related field.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
- Detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and other financial analysis tools.
- Knowledge of the construction and engineering industry preferred but not required.
- Previous internship or work experience in investment banking corporate finance or related field is a plus.
