We are looking to hire a Sales Manager to drive sales strategy generate revenue and build strong client relationships in the Nigerian market. As a key leader in the sales team you will work to expand our customer base by identifying business opportunities pitching products and closing deals. This role requires a deep understanding of the Nigerian fintech landscape strong sales acumen and the ability to develop and execute strategies that align with company goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth and meet revenue targets.
- Identify business opportunities and customer segments in the Nigerian market particularly within the fintech and financial services sectors.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales initiatives with product launches and marketing campaigns.
- Build relationships with key clients partners and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients resolving any issues and providing support as needed.
- Identify potential clients generate leads and maintain an active sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Manage the sales funnel from lead generation through closing with detailed tracking and reporting on conversion rates and other KPIs.
- Stay updated on industry trends competitors and market developments to identify potential threats and opportunities.
- Provide insights and feedback to the product and marketing teams to help shape the product roadmap and gotomarket strategies.
- Conduct effective sales presentations and negotiate contracts that align with company standards and client needs.
- Manage the endtoend sales process ensuring timely and successful delivery of solutions and services to clients.
- Mentor and train junior sales team members fostering a resultsoriented and supportive team environment.
- Set performance goals and KPIs for the sales team and regularly evaluate performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in business finance marketing or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 23 years of experience in sales or business development with at least 2 years in the fintech or financial services sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian fintech ecosystem including customer needs industry trends and regulatory environment.
- Exceptional negotiation presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fastpaced dynamic environment.

Minimum academic qualification of a graduate degree, preferably in Computer Science (2:1 and above. A 2:2 can be considered if the candidate has at least 5 years programming experience) At least 3 - 5 years working experience with team lead capabilities Experience in C# / ASP.NET, JavaScript and CSS. Knowledge of javascript and CSS frameworks is a plus (such as Vue, Angular, react, bootstrap, material bootstrap, semantic UI, etc) Demonstrable past work in the .NET environment (websites, windows applications. apps, etc) Any IT programming courses is a plus Location: Abuja Candidate residing in Abuja is a plus
