Job Title: Design and Development Specialist JDE FRICEW Objects
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to design develop and implement JDE FRICEW (Forms Reports Interfaces Conversions Enhancements and Workflows) objects in line with project requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne tools and technologies ensuring highquality deliverables that align with business needs and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for FRICEW objects.
- Develop test and deploy JDE objects including:
- Forms: Custom interactive applications.
- Reports: Advanced custom reports for operational and strategic decisionmaking.
- Interfaces: Integration with thirdparty systems using tools like EDI BSSV Orchestrator.
- Conversions: Data migration from legacy systems to JDE.
- Enhancements: Modifications to existing functionalities to meet user requirements.
- Workflows: Development of automated business processes within JDE.
- Forms: Custom interactive applications.
Technical Expertise:
- Utilize JDE EnterpriseOne Toolset (e.g. OMW Event Rules FDA RDA TC etc.) effectively.
- Implement and maintain JDE integrations using APIs BSSVs and REST services.
- Develop custom UBE Reports and business logic using JDE tools.
- Optimize performance and scalability of FRICEW objects.
Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with functional consultants and endusers to gather requirements.
- Collaborate with the QA team to ensure smooth testing and deployment.
- Provide postimplementation support and troubleshoot issues.
Documentation and Standards:
- Prepare detailed technical documentation for all FRICEW developments.
- Ensure compliance with company and industry coding standards.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Experience:
- 3 7 years of experience in JD Edwards Development.
- Proven track record in FRICEW development within JDE environments.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in JDE EnterpriseOne Development Tools.
- Experience with JDE Orchestrator Studio BSSV and REST API integration.
- Familiarity with SQL PL/SQL and relational databases like Oracle or SQL Server.
- Handson experience in debugging tools and JDE CNC environments.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment.
