Job Description
Role: Systems/ Configuration Analyst
Location: Must be local to MA or NJ; no relocation considered
Work Arrangement: Onsite 4 days a week in Boston or Woodbridge NJ
Visa Status: USC GC GC/H4/OPT EAD Only (c2c/W2)
Contract Duration: 6month contract to start with possible extensions
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience required
Key Skills: Configuration experience with Sapien Duckcreek or Guidewire
Ideal Candidate: Someone with P&C background and understanding of policy side (rating/billing/how an algorithm works etc.)
Role Description: Recommends approaches for business solution design develops technical specifications acts as liaison between vendors technical staff and business partners configures code in Claims Pro
Client Relationship: Develops relationships with client personnel and seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction
Communication: Conducts effective project evaluations communicates information to the development team prepares presentations and communicates difficult/sensitive information tactfully
Leadership/Project Management: Assists in enforcing project deadlines and schedules works with other team members to ensure timely and high quality deliverables
Development: Codes/Configures changes in the Sapiens Core Suite
Testing: Participates in System Testing process User Acceptance Testing process and documents test cases
Qualifications and Education: BA/BS degree required (computer science or related field preferred) minimum of 1 year of Associate Systems Analyst or Business Analystrelated experience proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Organization and Problem Solving: Well organized can manage multiple tasks simultaneously quickly understands business issues and data challenges analytical thinker ability to analyze reported issues to determine root cause
Service and Support: Delivers highquality services demonstrates understanding of software development principles provides support to Product Underwriting Claims and Finance teams performs oncall support for systems or applications
Technologies and Tools: Knowledge of Property Casualty Insurance policy and billing processing experience with vendor tools used for product development.
