Sr Product Analyst

Join the Enterprise Product SAP S/4 Finance Solutions Team to perform SAP Core Finance Management activities in support of business requirements improving or adding new functionality to the existing SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) landscape as necessary while participating in Project Keystone NBCUs Finance Transformation journey toward S/4. The Sr. Product Analyst will report to the Director of Finance Systems. This position will participate in multiple business initiatives and modernization efforts and will be dedicated to record to report (RTR) procure to pay (PTP) and order to cash (OTC) processes leading its strategic evolution for Domestic and International Finance. The role will be involved with einvoicing and ereporting implementations across PTP and OTC workstreams using SaaS solutions SAP EDoc and SAP Document & Reporting Compliance (DRC).

The Sr. Product Analyst is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive SAP solutions that align with NBCUniversals business needs including design and roadmaps by deeply understanding business processes and translating them into functional SAP solutions while ensuring optimal utilization of existing systems and facilitating new technology integration when required; acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver effective SAP implementations across the organization.

As a Sr. Product Analyst this role will be responsible for guiding configuration and functional design and engaging with SAP functional team architects and engineers.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for the SAP Core Finance workstreams (RTR PTP OTC) by designing configuring and implementing functionality for Domestic and International processes including regulatory electronic invoicing (einvoicing) and digital reporting (ereporting) requirements.
• Collaborate with engagement team and business users to understand their needs and translate them into detailed functional specifications and user guides for SAP solutions.
• Develop roadmap for einvoicing tax compliance and ereporting based on regulatory and country mandates
• Develop detailed solutions including data models workflows integrations and system configurations to address business requirements.
• Implement country specific tax and electronic invoicing (Einvoicing) solutions for Accounts payable Accounts receivable solution for SAP and nonSAP Systems including design of integration and data harmonization approach.
• Possess indepth knowledge of various SAP modules like Finance GL Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and expertise in SAP S/4HANA implementation and best practices.
• Perform fitgap analysis via discovery by engaging with business units and functional team members.
• Partner with technology teams to ensure business requirements are developed validated and system development goals are achieved.
• Design and implement integrations between SAP and other enterprise systems.
• Review and participate in testing activities (unit SIT functional UAT) to ensure quality of developed solutions
• Develop innovative solutions that enable achievement of strategic goals and vision leveraging your deep understanding of enterprise architecture and your knowledge of the latest technologies and trends.
• Manage and guide the organization through technological changes ensuring minimal disruption.
• Understand and manage the financial implications of architectural decisions optimizing for costeffectiveness.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts to business users and stakeholders manage expectations and build consensus on solutions.
• Manage small and medium size projects to ensure they are successfully delivered on time and on budget.
• Troubleshoot and oversee complex integrations between SAP and other source systems.  
• Oversee the technical model of data flows and integrations and its connections within the enterprise and leverage best practices in integrations and APIs to deliver and manage integrations.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience. 
• 5 years of progressive handson SAP experience (ECC and S/4) with a strong understanding of SAP modules relevant to NBCUniversal business operations.
• Experience with einvoicing and ereporting implementations across PTP and OTC workstreams using SaaS solutions SAP EDoc and SAP Document & Reporting Compliance (DRC).
• Proven track record of successful SAP implementation projects across multiple modules.
• Expertise in various SAP configuration customization and development (ECC and S/4).
• Experience with SAP integration technologies and data migration strategies.
• Knowledge in SAP table structures queries report painter and report writers.
• Basic knowledge of BW and SAP Security.
• Expert knowledge and demonstrated experience with project management processes SDLC Agile organizational change management concepts and business process improvement methods.
• Adherence to IT/SAP project methodologies and change control processes.
• Ability to work independently to prioritize workload and to work well under pressure to deliver effective solutions often within tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams and drive collaborative business decisions.
• Strong understanding of financial systems processes and enhancements.
• Experience working for a large company and within a matrix organization.
• Established expertise in financial operations financial controls GAAP accounting financial reporting and financial systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• PMP or other professional project management certification
• Experience using integration tools: Gentran Integration Suite (GIS)/Sterling Integrator Tibco Informatica SAP Cloud Integration SAP API Gateway
• SAP BTP and Clean Core Concepts
• Certified Public Account or Equivalent 
• Experience in SaaS products or another ERP
• Experience implementing financial processes and systems
• Experienced using Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word Excel PowerPoint Visio Project)
• Experience using systems designed to manage projects issues changes and testing (e.g. ServiceNow Jira Smartsheet HPALM Worksoft)
