Job Title: Sous Chef (Banquets)

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all food aspects of banquets and private events ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Collaborate with the Events Coordinator to plan and execute all banquet menus and food service for events.
- Manage kitchen staff during events ensuring timely and efficient food preparation and service.
- Handle the preparation cooking and presentation of food for banquets maintaining consistency and meeting client expectations.
- Work closely with clients to understand their event needs and tailor the food service accordingly.
- Ensure the kitchen is properly stocked organized and maintained during events.
- Manage kitchen operations during events ensuring the timely execution of the event schedule.
- Assist with training kitchen staff on banquet preparation cooking techniques and maintaining a high level of kitchen performance.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in kitchen operations including prior experience in banquet or event catering.
- Knowledge and expertise in time management within an eventdriven kitchen environment.
- Ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored food experiences for private events.
- Prior experience working in a highvolume fastpaced kitchen.
- Ability to manage and direct a team of kitchen staff during events.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work in a teamfocused environment.
