Job Description

Position Title: Help Desk & MidLevel Systems Engineer
Location: Hybrid (primarily remote with onsite visits required once per month)
Experience Required: Relevant experience in help desk support IT systems and network administration
Compensation: $50 per hour

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a skilled Help Desk & MidLevel Systems Engineer to provide ongoing IT support systems administration and network management services. This role supports an office environment of approximately 30 users focusing on enduser help desk support and midlevel network and system administration. Most tasks can be performed remotely but onsite visits are required at least once a month. Hours may fluctuate between 35 hours per week with the potential for additional hours based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide enduser help desk support to resolve technical issues and enhance user productivity.
  • Conduct midlevel network and system administration tasks ensuring the stability and efficiency of client IT systems.
  • Implement predefined remediation measures to maintain and troubleshoot systems network and cloudbased infrastructure.
  • Enhance and support daytoday IT operations ensuring smooth functioning of enduser systems.

Qualifications:

  • Experience Level: Proven experience in help desk support IT systems administration and network management.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving enduser issues.
    • Strong understanding of midlevel network and systems administration.
    • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure support and cybersecurity basics is preferred.
  • Additional Skills:
    • Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Strong communication skills for interacting with endusers and remote support teams.

  • Selfmotivated and capable of managing time effectively in a flexible work environment.
  • Strong customer service skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving IT issues.
  • Demonstrates initiative in troubleshooting and offering solutions to support enduser productivity.
