Position Summary:
As an Owner Representative Construction Manager you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the successful execution of construction projects from inception through completion. You will represent the owners interests ensuring projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards. This role requires excellent communication skills construction expertise and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all construction projects coordinating between owners architects contractors and consultants.
- Develop and manage project schedules budgets and resources to ensure efficient project execution.
- Conduct site visits to oversee project progress quality control and adherence to safety protocols.
- Review and approve project documentation including RFIs submittals change orders and progress reports.
- Provide direction to the construction teams ensuring that all work meets the companys standards and complies with relevant codes and regulations.
- Manage contracts negotiate terms and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Identify and address any issues or delays promptly developing solutions to maintain project schedules.
- Facilitate and lead regular project meetings providing clear updates to stakeholders and ensuring alignment on project goals.
- Monitor project budgets and control costs to meet financial targets.
- Ensure timely project completion including final inspections and turnover to the operations team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Architecture or related field.
- Minimum of 510 years of construction management experience preferably within the industrial real estate sector.
- Proven experience as an owner representative or in a similar role managing largescale industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes methods and safety standards.
- Proficient in construction management software (e.g. Procore MS Project) and other project management tools.
- Excellent communication negotiation and leadership skills.
- Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fastpaced environment.
- Preferred experience working in multiple regions throughout the US.
