Job Overview:
We are seeking a Data Entry Operator 2 to support a range of scanning indexing and data entry tasks at our Augusta ME location. This position plays a key role in managing electronic records ensuring accuracy and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should be highly organized have a strong attention to detail and be selfmotivated to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry & Record Management: Perform data entry and attachment of files to electronic records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Scanning & Indexing: Scan documents and index them into electronic records for easy retrieval.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and addressing any concerns or issues related to data or records.
- Document Management: Print certificates from electronic records as needed maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaboration: Work with team members and other departments to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and in line with project goals.
- ProblemSolving: Proactively identify issues with data records and take necessary actions to resolve them independently.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Customer Service: Strong customer service skills with the ability to professionally interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail when handling and entering data to ensure accuracy in all records.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills to efficiently manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Independence: Selfstarter with a willingness to take initiative identify problems and resolve them independently.
- Experience: Prior experience in data entry scanning and record management is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook) and basic knowledge of data management software.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear and effective communication with customers and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in relevant fields is a plus.
- 13 years of experience in a similar role especially within data entry or document management environments.
- Ability to handle sensitive information in compliance with privacy regulations and organizational policies.
Work Environment:
- Location: Augusta ME
- Onsite Requirement: This is a 100% onsite position for the first 6 months with flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week after the 6month mark.
- Work Hours: Fulltime Monday to Friday typical business hours.
