Job Summary
Nebulon Dynamics is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Technician to join our dynamic team. This is a remote position that offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact while enjoying the freedom to work from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities
As an IT Technician at Nebulon Dynamics your daytoday activities will include:
1. Technical Support:
Act as the first point of contact for ITrelated issues providing timely and effective troubleshooting and resolution.
Assist employees with hardware software and connectivity issues ensuring minimal downtime.
2. System Maintenance:
Install configure and maintain hardware software and peripheral devices both remotely and onsite (if required).
Perform regular updates and patches to ensure systems remain secure and efficient.
3. Network Management:
Monitor and maintain network infrastructure ensuring seamless connectivity across platforms.
Identify and resolve network issues escalating complex problems to senior IT staff when necessary.
4. Security Compliance:
Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to implement and maintain security protocols.
Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with data protection and system integrity standards.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of IT processes issues and resolutions to build a comprehensive knowledge base.
Provide regular reports on IT system performance and suggest areas for improvement.
6. Proactive IT Management:
Anticipate potential IT challenges and develop strategies to address them before they impact operations.
Stay updated on industry trends to recommend and implement cuttingedge solutions.
Required Qualifications
Were looking for someone with a strong technical foundation excellent problemsolving skills and a customerfocused mindset.
Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: 2 years in IT support technical support or a similar role.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows macOS and Linux operating systems.
Handson experience with hardware installation and diagnostics.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS Google Workspace or Microsoft Azure.
Basic networking knowledge including LAN/WAN setup VPNs and firewalls.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical team members.
A proactive selfdriven attitude with a focus on continuous learning.
Preferred Skills
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A Network or ITIL.
Experience using remote support tools and ticketing systems (e.g. Zendesk Freshservice).
Knowledge of cyber security practices and tools.
