Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join a prominent banking institution in Geneva for a 12month extendable contract. As a key member of the IT team you will play a crucial role in the design implementation and optimization of cloud infrastructure ensuring seamless integration and security within the organizations IT ecosystem.
Tasks
- Design and implement cloudbased solutions for the bank leveraging Azure and other relevant cloud technologies.
- Provide expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to ensure robust security measures are in place.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders to define cloud architecture strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Advise and guide internal teams on best practices for cloud security scalability and performance optimization.
- Manage cloudbased infrastructure including provisioning monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Lead cloud migration initiatives and ensure smooth transition of services to the cloud.
- Provide consultancy to the organization on technical solutions infrastructure optimization and cost efficiency in cloud services.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements specific to the banking industry.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud platform and related technologies.
- Handson experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.Solid background in Windows Server and related systems.Previous experience in providing consultancy services especially in a complex enterprise environment.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to make decisions in highpressure situations.
- Fluent in both French and English (written and spoken) for effective communication with local and international teams.
- Certifications in Azure (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert) or similar cloud platforms. (Desirable)
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements in the financial sector. (Desirable)
