Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect in Banking Architecture to support the execution of our 5year technology strategy.
This role focuses on designing and delivering innovative banking solutions ensuring alignment between business and technology functions.
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in application architecture and a strategic perspective to address emerging topics and challenges within the banking industry.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Solution Design: Support the development of functional and technical solution designs that align with the banks technology strategy and business needs.
2. Requirements Validation: Challenge and validate business requirements and vendordelivered solutions to ensure quality scalability and alignment with the banks goals.
3. Operating Model Support: Assist in designing and executing the target operating model to enable streamlined processes and efficient delivery.
4. Talent Development: Align talent buildup and upskilling initiatives with the strategy to ensure the organization has the required skills to execute transformation projects.
5. Strategic Insights: Provide strategic perspectives on emerging topics in banking and technology to guide innovation and decisionmaking.
6. Demand Alignment: Work closely with stakeholders to align priority demands with the overall strategy ensuring resources are effectively allocated.
7. Collaboration and Coordination: Facilitate collaboration across business and technology teams to address dependencies and maintain progress toward strategic milestones.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience with indepth knowledge of application architecture in the financial industry.
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. A Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g. TOGAF SAFe Agile) is preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
Expertise in designing and implementing application architectures for banking solutions.
Strong ability to assess and challenge vendor solutions and business requirements.
Experience in aligning talent development initiatives with organizational strategies.
Strategic mindset with knowledge of emerging trends in banking and technology.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for crossfunctional coordination.
Proficiency in architectural frameworks tools and methodologies.
