Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive Asset Management Analyst to join our growing asset management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the analysis monitoring and reporting of the companys investment portfolio providing critical support to senior managers in decisionmaking processes and ensuring optimal asset performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills a deep understanding of financial markets and a passion for datadriven decisionmaking.
Key Responsibilities:- Portfolio Analysis and Reporting:
Assist in the analysis of investment portfolios including tracking performance identifying trends and preparing regular performance reports for stakeholders. - Market Research:
Conduct research on potential investment opportunities industry trends and market conditions. Present findings to senior asset managers. - Investment Strategy Support:
Support the development of investment strategies by providing data analysis forecasting and identifying risks and opportunities. - Risk Management:
Monitor and assess potential risks related to the assets under management including market credit and operational risks. Provide actionable insights for mitigation. - Data Management and Modeling:
Maintain and update asset management databases create financial models to assess asset values and prepare forecasts and projections. - Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with internal teams including investment professionals finance and operations to ensure alignment on asset management objectives. - Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure all asset management activities adhere to regulatory guidelines and internal policies. Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.
- Education:
Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Accounting Business Administration or a related field. - Experience:
13 years of experience in asset management financial analysis or related fields. Prior experience in investment analysis real estate or portfolio management is a plus. - Skills:
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling Excel and other financial software tools.
- Knowledge of investment strategies asset classes and financial markets.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
- Certifications:
CFA FRM or other relevant certifications are desirable but not required.
- Salary Range:
$60000 $85000 annually depending on experience and qualifications. - Bonus Potential:
