You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are currently seeking the creative talent a Full-time talented Banquet Chef for Cairo at Nile Plaza that are well-mannered, visionary, and passionate and having a deep understanding of the hospitality concept to join our team.
You will be responsible for supervising and overseeing the preparation of food for events to ensure consistent quality while developing and mentoring the team and ensuring our guests receive the highest levels of service excellence.

Banquet Food Preparation and Execution:
Plan, organize, and oversee the preparation and delivery of banquet meals, ensuring that food is prepared according to specifications, taste, and presentation standards.
Coordinate with the event management team to understand the specific requirements of each event, including dietary restrictions, preferences, and service styles.
Supervise the food production process for banquets, ensuring food is ready for service on time and to the highest quality standards.
Ensure consistency in portioning, food quality, taste, and presentation, regardless of volume.
Manage the execution of plated meals, buffet setups, or family-style dining, as required by the event.
Menu Planning and Development:
Work with the sales and events team to develop banquet menus that align with client expectations, budget, and dietary needs.
Create seasonal menus that incorporate fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and innovative culinary trends.
Ensure that menu offerings are cost-effective while maintaining high standards of quality.
Customize menus for specific events (e.g., themed events, ethnic cuisines, dietary preferences like vegan, gluten-free, etc.).
Team Leadership and Staff Management:
Lead, train, and manage the banquet kitchen team, including sous chefs, line cooks, and kitchen assistants.
Assign tasks to kitchen staff based on their expertise and the needs of the event, ensuring that all responsibilities are covered.
Maintain a high standard of kitchen organization and cleanliness, ensuring that work areas are well-stocked, equipment is in good condition, and food safety protocols are followed.
Conduct regular performance evaluations of kitchen staff, provide training on new cooking techniques, and foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
A special talent and passion for ensuring you and your team deliver the highest of culinary standards and a commitment to maintaining quality. 2 – 3 years as Chef De Cuisine or Banquet Chef is a must while being proficient in reading, writing and English and High School Graduate
