Preventative Maintenance Technician
Summary of Responsibilities: The Preventative Maintenance Technician will perform scheduled maintenance on CNC production equipment requiring a basic understanding of electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems. This role involves using hand and power tools electric meters and material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Travel daily from home to customer facilities with occasional overnight stays for remote service or training.
Utilize machine tool manuals technical documents and other resources to research machine parts and services.
Maintain compliance with safety regulations and keep work areas clean and orderly.
Conduct preventative maintenance on CNC machines and provide maintenance training to customers.
Maintain a deep understanding of the machine tool industry and represented product lines.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical and pneumatic systems on CNC equipment.
Additional Duties:
Perform related tasks as needed.
Support other team members and adapt to various job requirements.
Qualifications & Competencies:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Class D license in good standing.
35 years of experience in the manufacturing industry with maintenance and repair experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail problemsolving skills and technical curiosity.
Proficient in English communication (verbal and written).
Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office (Word Outlook).
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Adaptable to changes and capable of managing delays or jobrelated challenges.
