1. Guest Assistance and Hospitality
- Welcoming Guests: Greet guests upon arrival, providing a warm, friendly, and professional welcome.
- Guest Orientation: Explain the spa’s amenities, services, and facilities to guests, including the use of saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, and relaxation areas.
- Escort to Treatment Rooms: Escort guests to their treatment rooms or designated relaxation areas, ensuring they are comfortable and informed about the process.
- Assisting with Special Requests: Respond to guest needs such as providing extra towels, blankets, or personal items (e.g., slippers, robes).
- Providing Information: Answer questions about spa services, packages, pricing, and health or wellness recommendations.
2. Facility Maintenance and Cleanliness
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure all areas of the spa, including treatment rooms, waiting areas, bathrooms, locker rooms, and relaxation lounges, are clean and well-maintained.
- Laundry and Towels: Regularly replace used towels, robes, and other linens, and ensure the laundry is properly handled.
- Stocking Supplies: Monitor and restock supplies such as toiletries, skincare products, and fresh towels in locker rooms and treatment areas.
- Sanitation: Follow strict cleanliness and sanitation protocols, particularly in high-touch areas such as locker rooms, restrooms, and pools or hot tubs.
3. Supporting Spa Therapists and Service Providers
- Preparation of Treatment Rooms: Ensure that treatment rooms are properly set up for therapists or estheticians before and after each session, including arranging necessary products, equipment, and linens.
- Post-Treatment Cleanup: Clean and disinfect treatment rooms after each use to ensure readiness for the next guest.
- Assisting Therapists: Provide support to spa therapists by delivering towels, products, or other materials needed during treatments.
4. Guest Comfort and Relaxation
- Ensuring Comfort: Make sure that guests feel comfortable, relaxed, and at ease during their visit. This may involve providing warm drinks, calming music, or assistance with choosing spa treatments.
- Temperature and Ambiance: Adjust the room temperature, lighting, and music to suit the guest's preferences or maintain a tranquil atmosphere.
- Monitoring Spa Areas: Monitor areas such as saunas, pools, and steam rooms to ensure guest safety and comfort, offering assistance if needed.
5. Spa Operations Support
- Booking and Scheduling Support: Assist with the booking or rescheduling of treatments and services, or work alongside reception staff to ensure smooth check-in/check-out processes.
- Spa Equipment Management: Ensure spa equipment (e.g., massage tables, chairs, or jacuzzi) is in working order and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Safety and Emergency Procedures: Be familiar with emergency evacuation protocols and procedures, as well as handling minor injuries or situations (such as a guest feeling faint or overheated).
- Spa Inventory: Monitor inventory levels for spa products (e.g., lotions, oils, creams) and inform management when stock is running low.
