Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Location: Davis CA
Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Classification: Exempt
Travel Requirement: 5%
Salary Range: $95000 $110000 annually
Position Overview:
The Human Resources Manager will oversee and direct the daily functions of the HR department including recruiting interviewing managing employee benefits and pay and enforcing company policies and procedures. This role requires someone capable of exercising discretion and independent judgment regularly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support HR functions for the manufacturing division.
- Partner with leadership to align the organization s human resource strategy with talent needs recruitment retention and succession planning.
- Provide expert guidance to HR staff and management on complex and sensitive issues such as reasonable accommodations investigations and terminations.
- Manage the full talent acquisition process for managerial exempt and professional roles collaborating with department managers to identify skill and competency needs.
- Analyze compensation and benefits trends and recommend programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Develop and oversee learning and development initiatives that support employee growth.
- Lead and conduct employee disciplinary meetings terminations and related investigations.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws and best practices revising policies to maintain alignment.
- Stay informed about trends best practices regulatory changes and new HR technologies.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficient analytical and problemsolving capabilities.
- Ability to manage tasks effectively and delegate as needed.
- Maintain integrity professionalism and confidentiality.
- Comprehensive understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly adapt to HRIS and talent management software.
