Job Description

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will possess a broad understanding of employment law with a focus on employment counseling litigation and transactional work. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team while advising clients on employment policies statutory and regulatory compliance and employment agreements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice on employment policies statutory compliance and separation agreements.
  • Advise clients on labor and employmentrelated issues including workplace practices and compliance with state and federal employment laws.
  • Participate in employment litigation matters as well as provide support on transactional employment issues.
  • Assist with training and mentoring junior associates.
  • Engage in business development activities and contribute to the overall growth of the firms Employment and Labor practice group.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in employment law.
  • Expertise in employment counseling litigation and transactional matters.
  • Strong academic credentials and exceptional communication and legal writing skills.
  • Admittance to the California bar is required.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced clientfacing environment with a high level of motivation and initiative.
  • Willingness to collaborate with and mentor junior attorneys.
