Job Description

Position Overview:

Join a dynamic and broad practice as part of the Employment Litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to work with innovative clients ranging from earlystage startups to Fortune 500 companies across industries such as technology life sciences green energy and cleantech. You will handle complex and diverse matters including internal investigations trade secret misappropriation claims contract disputes and highprofile employmentrelated litigation. This is a collaborative environment where midlevel associates take on significant responsibilities in both litigation and advisory roles.


Responsibilities

  • Litigate employment law cases including claims involving trade secrets covenants not to compete and employee nonsolicitation
  • Advise clients on employment mobility issues including noncompetes and trade secret protections
  • Provide daytoday legal counsel to fastgrowing technology companies on employment matters including terminations leaves of absence and employment policies
  • Draft and review employmentrelated documents and policies
  • Represent clients in employment disputes including highprofile sexual harassment and discrimination cases
  • Advise on employment law aspects of mergers acquisitions and corporate transactions

Required Skills and Experience

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • 35 years of experience in managementside employment law litigation and counseling
  • Experience advising on employment issues in corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions
  • Excellent academic credentials and superior written oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Membership in the CA Bar preferred
