Job Description
This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing Vehicles:
Utilise online platforms including Facebook Marketplace and other relevant websites to identify potential vehicles.
Develop and maintain relationships with wholesalers auctions and private sellers.
Stay informed about market trends vehicle values and industry best practices.
Proactively seek out vehicles that align with Skyviews inventory needs and customer preferences (e.g. popular makes and models low mileage desirable features).
Vehicle Evaluation:
Conduct thorough research on vehicle history specifications and condition.
Analyse vehicle reports and records (e.g. PPSR) to identify potential issues or risks.
Arrange vehicle inspections and appraisals as needed.
Accurately assess the market value of potential acquisitions.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of vehicle acquisitions including purchase details maintenance history and associated costs.
Update vehicle inventory databases and systems.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience in vehicle acquisition purchasing or a related field within the automotive industry is highly regarded.
- Understanding of vehicle mechanics specifications and market values along with familiarity with popular makes and models sold in Australia highly regarded
- Excellent research negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using online platforms and tools for vehicle sourcing.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to achieving results.
