Job Description
Our clients company specializes in providing residential doors and related services. They are currently seeking a dedicated Estimator to join their team. The Estimator will play a crucial role in construction projects handling various responsibilities related to estimating blueprint reading managing submittals and project closeouts.
Responsibilities
- Answering phones and assisting customers including walkins and willcall customers
- Preparing cut sheets and sending them to contractors
- Redlining and making necessary changes throughout projects
- Providing warranty information and finalizing project documentation
- Reading blueprints and performing takeoffs for projects
Qualifications
- Proficiency in reading plans for doors millwork and associated hardware
- Understanding of state regulations related to construction
- Experience with Excel Bluebeam and blueprint reading
- Office experience is required
