Job Description
This is a fulltime onsite role for a Construction Estimator a reputed construction company in Nashville TN. This position is responsible for the following tasks:
- Assemble construction cost estimates at all stages of pricing from preliminary budgets through final construction document pricing utilizing Sage Timberline Estimating Software.
- Organize decipher and distribute construction documents to all subcontractors & vendor for pricing.
- Pursue and solicit pricing from appropriate subcontractors via phone email etc. as necessary to achieve the necessary participation.
- Utilize Onscreen Takeoff Software for material quantity take offs.
- Review subcontractor & vendor pricing for complete scope and cost analysis.
- Assemble detailed proposals and present to clients.
Qualifications:
- Construction Estimating and Quantity Takeoffs skills.
- Cost Management and Budgeting skills.
- Effective Communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field.
