Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Install configure and manage development staging and production environments following standard procedures and documentation.
- Collaborate with the team to address scaling testing and performance issues ensuring disaster recovery plans are in place.
- Provide daily operational support and participate in project implementations (requires travel flexibility).
- Maintain and enhance existing system architecture and prepare technical documentation.
- Research and implement solutions to improve system reliability availability and service standards.
- Automate processes for testing deployment and configuration to streamline systems.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Explore new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and service standards.
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field with strong academic performance.
- At least 5 years of experience in administering both Windows and Linux OS (VMware/virtualization & cloud environments like AWS/Google Cloud).
- Handson experience with Docker cloud deployment coding and scripting (e.g. PHP Java NodeJS Shell scripts).
- Proficiency in managing web services (Apache NGINX PHP SQL databases).
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines Git TFS Jenkins).
- Strong understanding of network and system administration.
- Excellent communication problemsolving and teamwork skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and adhere to project plans.
