A nurturing SEN school in Chiswick is seeking an Early Years SEN Teacher to provide foundational support and guidance to young learners with additional needs. Role Highlights
- Permanent fulltime role in an early yearsfocused SEN school setting committed to creating a warm and inclusive environment for young learners with diverse developmental needs
- Design and deliver sensoryrich engaging lessons that stimulate curiosity and promote foundational skill development incorporating playbased and multisensory approaches to support each childs unique learning style
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary SEN team including teaching assistants therapists and support staff to develop individualized learning plans and foster holistic development
- Create a nurturing and supportive classroom where students feel safe valued and encouraged to explore their interests and abilities through structured and creative activities
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly adapting lesson plans and learning activities as needed to support each childs growth and address new developmental goals
- Engage in continuous professional development with a focus on best practices in SEN and early years education enhancing your skills and knowledge to support young learners effectively
Experience & Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience in Early Years education; background in SEN or exposure to SEN settings is advantageous
- Creative and patient approach to working with young children with a natural ability to connect with and engage young learners through playbased and interactive methods
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills essential for working effectively with SEN professionals parents and caregivers to provide a comprehensive support system for each child
- Commitment to inclusive education and a dedication to fostering an environment where all students can explore grow and achieve foundational skills at their own pace
- Enhanced DBS check required to ensure the safety and security of all students
