Job Description
Job Summary
The IT Officer will manage maintain and support all technologyrelated systems within the organization to ensure smooth and secure operations. This includes providing technical support troubleshooting software and hardware issues overseeing system updates maintaining IT infrastructure and implementing security protocols. The IT Officer will work closely with departments to support daytoday IT needs and to drive continuous improvements in technology utilization and efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintenance of the Company s Computer hardware and software resources.
- Ensuring that the Company s Computer systems are properly maintained and functioning optimally at all times.
- Prompt identification of lags and malfunctions and addressing the same as soon as possible.
- Protect the company from data loss by doing regular backups installing active online and offline protection for company data and other strategies to preserve company data and prevent unauthorized access.
- Internet management and connectivity to all business units of the Company.
- Enterprise resources planning ERP.
- Web hosting and server management.
- Online backups for all departments data.
- Business continuity and recovery planning.
- Ecommerce and Digital marketing support for our platforms.
- Cloud Management within the Company and if desired to branches at upcountry locations.
- Keep abreast of developments in the IT world as they may concern Business operations.
- Training of the Company s staff as required to empower them to understand the company s IT infrastructure and use it to function efficiently and effectively.
- Any other responsibility as may be assigned by the line manager or the management.
Requirements
- Minimum academic qualification of B.Sc./HND in Computer Science Information Technology (IT) or any related field.
- Minimum of 2 5 years of relevant experience as an IT Support Network Administration or a similar role.
- Experience with network configuration firewall management and cybersecurity practices.
- Strong experience in IT infrastructure components including servers routers switches and storage systems.
- Proficiency with database management and cloud services.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across hardware software and network domains.
- Should also be strong in Internet security server management and ERP skills/experience.
- Should have good ecommerce and digital marketing skills to handle ecommerce platforms.
- Professional Qualification in Information Technology i.e. CISCO is an added advantage.

Work Mode Onsite (MonFri) (8 am 6 pm)
