Be part of our client s team as a Bookkeeper where you ll manage bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks handle AP/AR duties and maintain financial records for multiple companies. You ll also support vendor coordination and various business operations. This role is perfect for a versatile independent and QuickBookssavvy professional.

Shift: Monday to Friday 9:00 am 6:00 pm EST

Key Contributions Youll Make
- Perform data entry accounts payable and accounts receivable in QuickBooks
- Post income and expenses for multiple properties including a real estate investment company and a property management company
- Manage private lending accounts and post interest payments for approximately 100 loans
- Create payoff statements for loans when applicable
- Manage monthly financials including balance sheets and income statements
- Maintain personal financials and accounts payable for the hiring manager s own finances
- Reconcile bank statements and credit cards (approximately six credit cards and multiple bank accounts)
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure smooth operations including insurance renewals and other businessrelated tasks
- Complete general administrative tasks as required varying with business needs
- Enter data in QuickBooks for accounts payable accounts receivable and monthly reconciliations
- Post income and expenses for managed properties including real estate investments and property management companies
- Prepare and post interest payments for private lending accounts
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports balance sheets and profit and loss statements
- Interact with vendors and coordinate recurring tasks such as insurance renewals
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Process and track financial transactions across 8 10 companies focusing on three more complex companies
Requirements
What You Bring to the Table
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles
- Advanced Excel skills (highly desired)
- Background in real estate for quick adaptation to the role
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Education: Degree in Accounting
- Tech Stack: QuickBooks Excel
