Job Description

Location: Nagoya Japan

The hiring company has pioneered wireless charging systems that are revolutionizing electric vehicle usage worldwide enabling cars to charge effortlessly while driving or parked no more interruptions for recharging. This cuttingedge solution not only minimizes the need for heavy batteries but also balances electricity demand more effectively. Featuring a comprehensive approach that includes underground infrastructure vehicleside technology and sophisticated charging management software the company is poised for remarkable growth as it gears up for largescale commercial projects across the globe.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead crossfunctional project teams to the successful completion of project goals.
  • Ensuring scope of work costs schedules and risks are properly planned resourced and managed.
  • Coordinate between the local customers and stakeholders and the various departments within the company.
  • Troubleshoot the system onsite and repair/swap components with technical support.
  • Provide progress reports and status updates.
  • Travel to additional sites as needed.


Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Practical Engineering.
  • 7 years of experience as a Project Manager with a technical background (multidisciplinary systems a big advantage!).
  • Project management professional certification i.e. PMP PJMP.
  • A project management tool e.g. MS project.
  • Handson background A must requirement.
  • An ability to read engineering and construction drawings.
  • High organizational skills.
  • High proficiency in Office and Google Suite.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts (Business English acumen i.e. TOEIC 760)
  • Project management experience in system R&D projects in the automotive industry is an advantage.
  • Collaborative work experience on a multinational project management an advantage.
