We are looking for a skilled Key Account Manager to oversee the relationships of the company with its most important clients. You will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining long term key customers by comprehending their requirements. The ideal candidate will be capable in building strong relationships with strategic customers. You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote our companys solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction.
JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Job tasks and responsibilities includes but are not limited to:
- Maintain current business.
- Develop strategies to obtain new core business and thereby maximizing market share.
- Maintain sound relations with customers.
- Negotiate prices to achieve agreed pricing targets.
- To ensure customer documentation is timeously completed and returned.
- Liaise between customers licensors and various other divisions as directed.
- To react upon the results of customer surveys (OE).
- Monitoring and reporting on market trends /activities.
- Negotiate the respective contracts pertaining to OE related business (supply warranty and license agreements).
- Identify and disclose potential new market opportunities.
- Ensure that all company safety health environmental and quality procedures are understood and applied within the marketing department.
- Liaise between customers suppliers and various other company divisions.
- Marketing functions which include but are not limited to customer liaison margin monitoring and recovery price negotiations new business acquisition.
- Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
- Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
- Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into longlasting relationships
- Overseeing the sales teams
- Weekly and Monthly meetings setting targets and driving the sales teams
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- A Relevant Qualification to the position
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position in the FMCG Sector.
- Extended knowledge with computers MS Office with emphasis on Excel Word.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
- Ability to work in highly stressed and complex situations.
