Job Description
Electrical Designers should be experienced to support the design and engineering of building type projects of various scale and complexity including; Hotels HighEnd Residential MixedUse MultiFamily Developments Commercial and Retail. The successful candidate will apply electrical engineering techniques procedures and criteria to the process and expect to constantly advance their design capabilities. Documents will be produced using AutoCAD.
Responsibilities
- Assist in completing plans specifications and other technical drawings in an efficient and timely manner
- Preparing CAD/Revit generated drawings and specifications intended for construction
- Draft and assist in designing working drawings wiring diagrams wiring connections specification and crosssections of underground cables as required for instructions to installation crew
- Planning scheduling or coordinating construction project activities to meet deadlines
- Managing multiple projects towards successful completion
- Assures that drawings and designs are in accordance with company production and design standards
Qualifications
- Associates degree in drafting design technology or Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5 or more years of relevant design
- Proficient in the use of computer for design and must understand CAD/BIM operations
- Experience with industry standard software including Microsoft products AGi32 EnergyPro. Etc.
- Extensive knowledge of the principles and practices relating to appropriate discipline including both design and construction
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees customers vendors and clients
- Understanding and knowledge of applicable codes
