Job Description
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead the electrical design and development of dry type transformers.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define customized designs with high priority on safety design aspects and identification and control of hazards.
- Design analyze and evaluate systems products or components requiring a high degree of technical expertise.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize transformer design manufacturing processes and materials selection.
- Support prototype builds and testing activities analyzing results and recommending design modifications as necessary.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers fostering a culture of learning and development within the transformer team.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in transformer design and manufacturing incorporating new methodologies and best practices into our development processes.

Background:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related field and 35 years of experience in electrical design and development with a focus on transformers in the power industry
- Proficiency in CAD software/ PTC Creo is preferred.
- Experience with programming languages such as C or C# preferred.
- Experience supporting technology implementation and Design to Value (DTV) initiatives.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fastpaced collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audience.
