Are you passionate about helping patients access the care they need Our client a dedicated physical therapy practice in Arkansas is looking for an Insurance Verification Specialist to join their team. This is a fulltime remote position with the opportunity to make a direct impact on patient care.
As an Insurance Verification Specialist you ll play a crucial role in ensuring that patients insurance information is accurately verified and updated allowing them to receive seamless physical therapy care. Your ability to navigate insurance portals communicate effectively with both patients and insurance providers and maintain clear records will help improve the overall patient experience.

Verify Patient Insurance Coverage: Confirm coverage details for physical therapy services ensuring accurate information is on file.
Update Patient Files: Maintain and update patient insurance information in the practice management system.
Explain Insurance Benefits: Communicate benefits copays and coverage details to patients ensuring they understand their responsibilities.
Liaise with Insurance Providers: Resolve insurancerelated inquiries and work with providers to clarify coverage and claims status.
Track Insurance Claims: Monitor the status of pending insurance claims and follow up as needed to ensure timely processing.
Assist with Insurance Queries: Respond to patient inquiries regarding their insurance coverage claims and benefits.
Experience: Prior experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred but not required.
Skills: Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to explain insurance information clearly.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with StrataPT Availity Inovalon My Ability and United Healthcare portal is a plus.
DetailOriented: Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Customer Service Mindset: Compassionate and patientfocused with a desire to assist patients in navigating insurancerelated challenges.
