Job Description

Our client is a key player in the insurance landscape. They enable insurers to connect with digital distribution channels and to administer their claims costeffectively. They are looking to hire a Full Stack Engineer in Lagos Nigeria.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be working as a core member of the product/engineering team as well as closely with stakeholders across customer success and sales teams.

Job Responsibilities

You will

Design and carry out the fullstack implementation of required product features with welldesigned and testable code.

Deploy developed features to production without downtimes or undesired side effects.

Build new integrations between our Grow platform and various 3rd party enterprise applications.

Lead and mentor lessexperienced members of the engineering team.

Participate in design code and productionreadiness reviews.

Partake in the development of other new and exciting products.

Debug production issues across our products. What it takes to succeed at this role

You have strong design and problem solving skills.

You have experience in building and shipping productionready applications ideally written in Laravel & Vue.

You have at least 5 years experience in Laravel & Vue

You have understanding of CI/CD TDD

You have good understanding of Domain Driven Design and OOP principles.

You are innovative push technical boundaries and are excited to solve problems that have never been solved before.

You can self manage and effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.

Youre the kind of person who is eager and willing to learn a skill you dont possess but is required to complete a task to get it done.

You have a high level of selfmotivation and a drive for selfdevelopment.

You want to work in a fastpaced startup environment to build an exciting product

Finally you are a "Doer" with knowledge transfer skills

Requirements

The more familiarity you have with our tech stack the better!

The technologies that we use include but are not limited to:

PHP Laravel (Strong experience required)

Vue

React Native

Electron

MySql MS SQL

AWS & GCP (nice to have)

Docker k8s (nice to have)

Strong knowledge of solid minerals testing methods, including chemical composition analysis (XRF, ICP, AAS) and physical property testing (hardness, density, etc.). Familiarity with minerals such as lithium, tantalite, and tin. Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 17025) and laboratory accreditation. Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in staff training and development. Proficiency with LIMS and data analysis software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail. Strong communication skills for data reporting and collaboration with internal teams and clients. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in laboratory operations.

Education

Bachelor s degree in Chemistry, Geology, Metallurgy, or a related scientific discipline. A Master s degree is preferred. 7 10 years of laboratory experience, with at least 3 5 years in a supervisory role, preferably in the solid minerals or mining sector.
