PROFILE INTRODUCTION
Our client an established aviation company in Tanzania with a strong reputation for excellence is seeking a strategic and resultsdriven Chief Business Officer (CBO). This role is pivotal in shaping the company s business operations driving growth and leading the sales department to maximize revenue performance. The CBO will act as an essential partner to the CEO supporting key business decisions and ensuring that operations market expansion and sales strategies align seamlessly with the company s longterm vision. The ideal candidate will become part of a leadership team dedicated to operational excellence innovative growth and fostering sustainable success in the aviation sector.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership and Business Development: Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive business strategies that align with the company s longterm objectives. Identify and drive new growth opportunities both locally and internationally to enhance market positioning and profitability.
- Sales Strategy and Revenue Management: Lead and manage the sales department by setting clear targets formulating competitive sales strategies and monitoring performance metrics to ensure revenue goals are achieved. Foster a resultsoriented sales culture that aligns with the companys mission.
- Executive Support to the CEO: Act as a trusted Executive Assistant to the CEO offering strategic support for daytoday management aiding in highlevel decisionmaking and assisting in executing initiatives that align with the companys priorities.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure seamless and efficient operations by coordinating with various departments and optimizing processes to align operations with both financial targets and strategic goals. Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and safety standards.
- KPI Monitoring and Performance Analysis: Work alongside the CEO to track and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs). Develop and execute corrective actions to ensure the company stays on track to achieve its strategic business objectives
- CrossFunctional Collaboration: Partner with finance marketing operations and legal teams to synchronize business activities with overarching strategic goals. Cultivate a cooperative work environment that promotes synergy across departments.
- Board and Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare comprehensive reports presentations and updates for board meetings investor engagements and other highlevel business functions. Act as a liaison to communicate critical business insights and strategies effectively.
- Market Expansion Initiatives: Spearhead business development initiatives aimed at expanding service offerings and entering new markets. Identify key partnerships and build strategic alliances that contribute to longterm growth and sustainability.

Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Aviation Management or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5 years of experience in sales business development operations and executive support within the aviation industry.
- Strong leadership operational and decisionmaking skills with a focus on business growth and strategic alignment.
- Strong leadership operational management and sales strategy skills with a focus on business growth and revenue generation.
- Ability to work strategically with senior leadership and external partners
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to assist the CEO in daytoday operations.
