What is this role
Our team is ready to welcome a Demi Chef to our Kitchen brigade. The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Take charge of your designated section to ensure smooth prep and service delivery
- Assist other sections when required and support more junior chefs across a range of sections
- Bring your genuine passion for food quality setting a positive tone for your colleagues
- Stay diligent in adhering to local regulations related to health safety and compliance with a solid grasp of HACCP management
- Ensure accuracy consistency and efficiency in preparing and presenting menu items
- Foster a collaborative approach between the frontofhouse team and the kitchen brigade to deliver exceptional experiences for our customers.

What do I need
Key requirements for this role include:
- Ability to work every Saturday and Sunday availability for public holidays as required
- Experience in a premium high volume commercial kitchen
- Experience with finedining presentation and cooking styles
- Knowledge of a wide range of cooking methods and techniques
- Experience with all sections including cold larder pans grill sauces
- Experience working in a HACCP environment and completing Food Safety documentation
- Adhering to portion control food waste and production procedures
