Aigens is a hotel and restaurant tech startup that has helped steer the digital revolution of the F&B and Hospitality industry in Asia Pacific. We started as a 2man team in 2012 and have since grown into a SaaS company known for being a market leader with significant wins essentially being the first to introduce BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) QR code ordering technology to Hong Kong and Singapore.
In the last three years we ve experienced our most significant growth to date: resulting in 6 regional offices across APAC and 120 team members (and increasing every month). We are headquartered in Hong Kong with offices in Bangkok Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur. We serve more than 500 brands in F&B and Hospitality including global names like Accor Hyatt Centara KFC Burger King Starbucks etc..
Catering to Aigens business growth and regional expansion opportunities we are looking for a highly motivated organized selfstarter to join our team. You will be one of the key influencers to shape the customer experience of our key customers. What your daily work looks like:
- Responsible for the development of the ordering system and related software products including the implementation of the frontend user interface and backend services
- Work with the project manager to complete the architecture design of the ordering system to ensure system scalability and high availability
- Responsible for writing technical documents in the development process including development plans system design documents etc.
- Responsible for continuous technical support for ordering products including function modifications system upgrades and performance optimization;
- Perform application maintenance writing upgrades and documentation
- Crossdepartmental cooperation: work closely with the testing team product management team and customer service team to ensure that product requirements are accurately implemented and responded to quickly
- Explore experiments and implement new mobile technologies
Requirements
We are looking for someone with:
- Hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or related disciplines
- 2 years of relevant experience of C# development experience proficient in C# language and its development in Windows environment;
- Proficient in at least one database (such as MS SQL Server Oracle or MySQL) candidates with MS SQL Server experience are preferred
- Backend practical experience including but not limited to Java and proficiency in other backend technology stacks
- Practical experience with cloud services (AWS Google Cloud Alibaba Cloud) and Docker will be an advantage
- Familiar with CMS system and serverside development
- Experience in delivering complete backend applications across multiple platforms
- Strong problemsolving and communication skills able to analyze and explain requirements and align with business goals and product sustainability perspectives
- Detailoriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
- Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with industry trends and advancements
- Clear and effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Demonstrates a strong sense of accountability and responsibility
- Fluent in English both verbal and writing
- Proficient in Mandarin and Cantonese is a plus

2+ years of relevant experience in project management, preferably in IT/Technology Candidates with less experience will be considered as Project Coordinator.
