We are hiring a CNM2 /Clinical Nurse Specialist Radiotherapy for a Private Hospital in Galway Ireland.

This role is on a permanent part time basis working 20 hours per week
We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are at the center of all we do.
Key Responsibilities
- The development and provision of nursing services in the radiotherapy department will be coordinated managed and led by the Clinical Nurse Manager 2/Clinical Nurse Specialist.
- Clinical and professional leadership within the nursing team will be the main responsibility of the Clinical Nurse Manager 2/Clinical Nurse Specialist. Through the integration coordination and management of activities and resources within the clinical area
- Exhibit a high level of ability and competency to support the efficient effective and supportive treatment of patients.
- Candidate will be essential in educating patients and their families about their treatment plan care plan any side effects and how to manage them.
Requirements
- Be registered / eligible to register in the General Division of the NMBI Nurse Register.
- A bachelors degree is ideal although postgraduate degrees in radiotherapy or oncology and/or management are also desirable.
- Five years of total nursing experience including two to three years in radiotherapy oncology or a similar field
- Possess demonstrated clinical managerial leadership and customer service abilities
- Proactive planning combined with efficient resource coordination
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
