Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated (Healthcare) Business Development Coordinator to expand PsychiaTreats outreach and strengthen partnerships within the healthcare industry. This role will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities cultivating strong relationships with possible patient referral affiliates and fostering growth that aligns with our mission to serve the mental health needs of veterans and first responders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Strategic Partnerships: Identify initiate and maintain relationships with healthcare networks insurers and other potential partners to expand PsychiaTreats reach and patient base.
- Market Research and Lead Generation: Conduct indepth market research and networking to pinpoint potential business opportunities within the healthcare sector with a focus on mental health services.
- Event Creation and Hosting: Develop organize and host relevant events and activities including community events workshops and informational sessions aimed at increasing awareness of mental health resources and strengthening connections with veterans first responders and local organizations.
- Community Coalition Leadership: Establish and lead a community coalition focused on identifying key areas of need within the community. Coordinate efforts and brainstorm impactful ways for PsychiaTreat to give back ensuring that initiatives align with the needs of veterans first responders and their families.
- Collaborate with CrossFunctional Teams: Partner with marketing clinical and operational teams to align business strategies outreach and service offerings with company goals.
- Database and CRM Management: Utilize CRM software to manage a comprehensive organized database of leads contacts and opportunities ensuring efficient tracking and followups.
- Sales and Outreach Presentations: Develop and deliver impactful presentations proposals and contracts tailored to prospective patients and partners.
- Market Analysis and Strategy Refinement: Monitor trends and competitor activities within the healthcare industry leveraging insights to refine business strategies and identify growth opportunities.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Healthcare Administration Business Marketing or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in healthcare business development sales or a similar role within the mental health or healthcare sectors.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
- Strong selfmotivation and resultsdriven approach.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and lead generation tools.
- Deep understanding of and commitment to mental health services for veterans first responders and their families is a plus.

Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in medical billing, preferably in a psychiatric or mental health setting. Certifications: ICD-10 certification required; certification in medical billing and coding (e.g., AAPC, AMBA) is a plus. Software Skills: Proficiency in billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Coding Knowledge: Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10 coding, and insurance reimbursement processes. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with no-fault and/or workers' compensation billing and prior leadership experience. Skills: Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and thrive in a startup environment.
