Job Description
Position Title: SA/AVP – Operations
Location: Mumbai
Job Objective:
We are looking for a skilled Operations professional to support PMS and AIF activities including client onboarding trade settlement and regulatory and internal reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Onboarding:
Conduct KYC/CKYC verification and World Check verification for clients
Collaborate with external and internal teams for onboarding processes
Address client and distributor queries and resolve any onboarding issues
Maintain comprehensive onboarding MIS and client records in both digital and physical formats
Operational Duties:
Coordinate with teams for brokerage/commission calculations and payments
Perform periodic bank and holdings reconciliations
Calculate NAV on daily and periodic basis
Handle monthly/quarterly payments TDS return filing and TDS certificates
Verify Form 64C for taxation details per fund and client
Prepare documentation for auditors inspection agencies and management reports
Assist in regulatory reporting for the compliance team
ProjectSpecific Work:
Support management in projectbased tasks
Draft documents for policies manuals forms and procedures implementing regulatory mechanisms for projects
Performance Indicators:
Timely and accurate deliverables
Continuous process improvements
Adherence to timelines for deliverables
Effective support in backoffice functions as needed
Qualifications Experience & Competencies:
Education: Postgraduate or MBA in Finance or equivalent
Experience: 46 years in the Asset Management industry (Mutual Fund/AIF/PMS)
Skills:
o Proficiency in backoffice operations
o Strong analytical and Excel skills
o Familiarity with relevant software (Wealth Spectrum/Hexagon)
o Expertise in MIS development
