Job Brief
Were looking for a skilled and motivated Construction Foreman to oversee construction projects from inception through to completion. As the Construction Foreman youll be a critical onsite leader managing resources coordinating team members and ensuring that each project meets timelines budget and specifications. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who excels at planning has a strong commitment to safety and can inspire teams to achieve excellence on every project.
Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight: Lead construction projects from planning through to execution ensuring adherence to timelines and specifications while keeping high standards of quality and workmanship.
Resource Management: Allocate labor materials and equipment efficiently to maintain productivity and quality identifying and addressing any resource gaps.
Team Coordination: Direct and oversee onsite personnel subcontractors and consultants ensuring seamless communication and alignment with project goals.
Scheduling & Coordination: Schedule and coordinate subcontractors clients and consultants maintaining a clear timeline and adapting to project demands as necessary.
Safety Management: Conduct regular site inspections maintain safety records and ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations creating a secure work environment.
Progress Reporting: Communicate daily updates on project status challenges and successes to the Project Manager keeping all stakeholders informed and aligned.
Quality Control: Maintain high standards of workmanship that match project specifications regularly inspecting work and adjusting as needed to ensure excellence.
Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot site issues promptly using critical thinking to resolve challenges and minimize delays.
Documentation: Ensure accurate recordkeeping of project schedules safety checks and resource allocation for reference and compliance purposes.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in construction management or as a foreman on largescale projects with strong knowledge of construction processes techniques and standards.
Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints renderings and project documentation with precision as well as proficiency in using relevant tools and equipment.
Leadership Abilities: Proven capability in leading inspiring and managing teams with an emphasis on safety quality and productivity.
Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to relay complex information to diverse teams and stakeholders.
ProblemSolving Aptitude: Skilled at addressing onsite issues independently demonstrating sound judgment and decisiveness.
Attention to Detail: Diligent in monitoring project details safety protocols and workmanship standards to ensure flawless execution.
**Physical Requirements: Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and capable of handling the physical demands of the job.
License: Valid drivers license is required.
