Job Description

Procurement & Logistics Manager (On SiteRishon/Yavne Israel)

Job Description:

Procurement & Logistics Manager responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials logistics inventory and leading efficiency processes to improve overall operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Management: Plan and execute procurement of raw materials such as wood adhesives complementary materials tools and additional equipment.

  • Negotiate with suppliers domestically and internationally to achieve the best commercial terms.

  • Monitor quality and compliance with standards of purchased materials and products.

  • Identify and evaluate new suppliers.

  • Logistics Management: Plan and manage the logistics and supply of raw materials and finished products.

  • Manage warehouse and inventory including inventory control and tracking storage and transport processes.

  • Collaborate with production departments to ensure material availability.

  • Budget Control: Produce monthly and annual reports and conduct cost analysis.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and lead efficiency processes in procurement and logistics.

  • Implement advanced management methods for inventory management and operational efficiency.

  • ERP System Usage: Operate with ERP systems specifically Priority.

Required Qualifications:

  • 35 years of managerial experience in procurement and logistics preferably in industrial/manufacturing environments and/or in the wood industry.

  • Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering an advantage.

  • Highlevel negotiation skills.

  • Experience managing and motivating teams with the ability to work in a dynamic multitasking environment.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and understand economic processes.

  • Strong English proficiency especially for supplier negotiations (advantage).

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work across different internal and external organizational interfaces.
