- Assist in conducting risk assessments process and compliance reviews.
- Support the development and implementation of information security enterprise risk and business continuity strategies.
- Conduct research and analysis on industry trends emerging threats and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with senior consultants to prepare client reports presentations and recommendations.
- Participate in client meetings and workshops providing insights and support as needed.
- Contribute to the development of risk management tools methodologies and frameworks.
- Assist in the facilitation of training sessions and awareness programs on risk management and data privacy.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology Finance Business Administration or a related field
- 13 years of experience in risk management information security or a related consulting role.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A passion for learning and developing expertise in risk management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with risk management frameworks such as ISO 27001 ISO31000 ISO 22301 COBIT or NIST.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations like GDPR or Kenya DPA.
- Knowledge of business continuity planning and disaster recovery strategies.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP CISM CRISC) are a plus.
