Job Description
Location: Hybrid Model 3 days onsite (Tuesdays Wednesdays and one other teamspecific day) and 2 days remote.
About the Role
As a Data Security Architect in our Cybersecurity Architecture Center of Excellence youll play a pivotal role in shaping the security framework for The facilitys modernization journey. In this role you will spearhead the transformation of our data security architecture across onpremises client and hybridcloud environments reinforcing our commitment to a SecurityFirst mindset. You will lead initiatives to redefine security standards create tailored security patterns and drive a multiyear roadmap to safeguard our data assets.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver security architecture solutions that address the data security needs of the facility.
- Identify and address security vulnerabilities collaborating with engineering teams to implement protective measures.
- Act as the Data Security SME guiding and inspiring both your peers and junior staff.
- Design data infrastructure security solutions that encompass DLP IPS WAF Proxy and access management integrating both cloud and onpremise components.
- Shape and execute the Zero Trust data modernization roadmap aligning with cuttingedge security technologies like DSPM and DLP.
- Build and nurture partnerships across IT Architecture Application Development and Technology Risk Management teams to drive policy enhancements.
- Identify and automate data security lifecycle management tasks for efficiency and consistency.
- Lead deep technical analysis for data security advancements presenting insights to executive leadership.
- Remain current on security trends and technologies maintaining thought leadership within the cybersecurity community.
Qualifications
- 10 years of data security experience.
- Bachelors degree in STEM fields (Computer Science Information Management etc.).
- Proven expertise in cloud architecture and cloudnative services.
- Strong background in data security technologies like DLP and DSPM.
- Technical proficiency in Zero Trust security models and datacentric designs.
- Proficiency with Wireshark NextGen Firewalls WAFs IPS and other security tools.
- Knowledge of vendors such as Wiz Zscaler Akamai AWS Macie and Azure Purview.
- Familiarity with quantumresistant cryptography applied cryptography and encryption standards.
- Experience in data aggregation ETL data pipelines and data warehousing strategies.
- Skilled in Python PowerShell networking fundamentals and Windows/Linux security.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 NIST and other security frameworks.
